Stephen McDonald

Stephen McDonald has a diverse work experience. Stephen currently works as an Advanced Biomedical Scientist Team Leader (Biochemistry) at the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust, where they are responsible for delivering a high-quality biochemistry service to Furness General Hospital. Stephen is also a Senior member of the biochemistry technical staff and a representative for the FGH site on the departmental management team. Additionally, Stephen is a Pathology Quality Manager at the same organization.

Furthermore, Stephen is an Associate Member (ACMI) at the Chartered Management Institute and a Q Community member at The Health Foundation. Stephen is also involved with the Institute of Biomedical Science, serving as a North West Regional Committee Member, Registration portfolio verifier and Specialist portfolio assessor, Degree Assessor, and was previously the North West Region Champion of Biomedical Science.
