Kou Chaichian

Kou Chaichian's work experience includes various roles in different companies. In 2022, Kou worked as the VP of Talent Management at The Hello Group, an international entertainment company. Prior to that, in the same year, Kou was the Head of Partnerships at Roll, a financial operating system for social tokens. From 2013 to 2022, Kou held multiple roles at BroadbandTV (BBTV), including Director of Business Development and Ad Sales, Head of Talent & Partnerships, Head of Content Acquisition, Content Acquisition Manager, and Team Lead - Gaming. Before that, Kou worked as a Game Designer at Sanrio Digital in 2009 and as a Contract Audio at A.S.E Audio Production in 2009. From 2003 to 2008, Kou worked as A&R/New Media Development at Feel Me Records. In 2001, Kou was a Recording Artist at Arshid Entertainment (Suite E Studios), where they collaborated with Collective Soul. Lastly, from 1999 to 2001, Kou was a Recording Artist at Left Eye Productions Limited.

Kou Chaichian obtained a high-school diploma from Sentinel Secondary. They furthered their education at Capilano University, where they studied Legal Research and B.C. Labour Relations Code. Later, they attended Royal Conservatory/London College and completed a degree in Piano Music & Theory Level 10. In 2000, Kou attended Berklee College of Music and pursued a degree in Pro Tools Engineering. They also enrolled at Vancouver Film School in 2008, focusing on Game Design.
