Kristi Naumann

Clinical Director at The Heritage Community

Kristi began her journey towards mental health when she discovered the Family Sciences major at college. It rang true to her to be able to look through the family lens to heal. She graduated and then took a 20-year sabbatical to raise her kids. At a critical juncture in her life, she decided to return to the mental health field and received her master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, again looking at healing through the family. She was initially hired on at Heritage in 2011 as an intern therapist, and found that working with teens was where it was at! She learned to understand that every human being has a story, and that if we understand the story, and help the individual to understand the story, important changes can be made. Kristi left Heritage after working there for 7 years, to begin working privately in the community with individuals, couples, and families. She only recently returned to Heritage, feeling the familiar pull to learn again about these amazing, resilient youth's stories. Kristi has been married for 32 years, has 6 children and 5 grandchildren.
