Lindsey Mikell

Lindsey Mikell, M.Ed, currently serves as the Special Education Coordinator at The Heritage Community since September 2025. Previously, Lindsey worked as a Learning Specialist at Seattle Public Schools and as a Special Education Teacher at Adams 12 Five Star Schools, Aurora Public Schools, and New Horizon Center. Responsibilities have included managing Individualized Education Programs, assessing student performance, and developing instructional activities tailored to diverse learning needs. Additionally, experience as an English Second Language Teacher at Satit Rajahbat and as a Behavioral Therapist at Autism Home Support Services, Inc. contributed to a well-rounded expertise in educational practices. Lindsey holds a Master's degree in Special and Elementary Education from DePaul University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Northeastern Illinois University, along with a certification in UI/UX Design from CareerFoundry.
