Kathrine Bedard

Government Relations Assistant at The Heritage Foundation

Kathrine Bedard is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in government relations and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Government Relations Assistant at The Heritage Foundation since May 2025, Kathrine previously held positions including President and Vice President of the Clemson University Chapter of Young Americans for Freedom. During time at Clemson University, Kathrine contributed to the Undergraduate Student Government in various capacities, such as Secretary of Academic Experience and Senate Vice Chair of the Academic Affairs Committee. Additionally, experience includes a summer internship at Deloitte in GPS Risk & Financial Advisory and prior internships at The Heritage Foundation and the Clare Boothe Luce Center for Conservative Women. Kathrine has also worked as a ski instructor at Crotched Mountain Ski and Ride and served as a camp counselor at Camp Robin Hood, emphasizing leadership and educational skills. Educationally, Kathrine is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics, Political Science, Computer Science, and Public Policy at Clemson University, following a high school diploma from Wellesley High School.
