Joseph Habamungu

Joseph Habamungu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project coordination, translation, and interpretation across various organizations. Currently serving as a Project Coordinator for the "Putting Survivors at the Center" initiative at Women for Women International, Joseph focuses on enhancing support models for gender-based violence survivors. With a solid background as an English-French Verified Translator for Translators without Borders since 2020, Joseph has contributed to numerous humanitarian organizations. Previous roles include project coordination at the Panzi Foundation DRC, event coordination and translation for The Herring Consulting Group, and travel coordination across multiple companies. Joseph holds multiple certifications, including a recent completion in Building GBV Evidence in Conflict and Refugee Settings from The Global Women's Institute at George Washington University.
