Senna Omar

Senna Omar serves as the Editor in Chief of The Highlander since September 2021, managing a diverse team to produce weekly publications that uphold high journalistic standards. Previous roles at The Highlander include Managing Editor and Assistant Features Editor, contributing to smooth operations and content development. In addition to extensive editorial experience, Senna worked as a political canvasser for the Je Hewit campaign, enhancing data entry and communication skills, and served as a Resident Advisor for two leadership programs with the Junior State of America, empowering high school students. Senna's professional background is complemented by studies in Political Science and Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies at the University of California, Riverside, where enrollment spans from 2021 to 2025.
