Matt Hellens

Matt Hellens has extensive experience in information technology, currently serving as the Director of Information Technology at The Highlands at Harbor Springs since April 2022. Previously, Matt held key roles including Information Technology Supervisor and Senior Network and Systems Administrator at the Health Department of Northwest Michigan from May 2018 to April 2022, and Director of Information Technology at both Emmet County, Michigan (November 2014 - April 2018) and Cheboygan County (June 2006 - November 2014). Early in their career, Matt worked as a Network Engineer at Empiric Solutions, Inc. (May 2001 - May 2006) and as a Web Developer at The Image Group/Digital Commerce (May 1998 - May 2001). Matt Hellens is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Information Technology Management at the University of Wisconsin Colleges, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Lake Superior State University in 1998.
