Prachi Shevgaonkar

Prachi Shevgaonkar is the Founder and CEO of Cool The Globe, an app and citizen-led movement aimed at promoting climate action by helping individuals reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. In addition to leading Cool The Globe, Prachi is a Next Generation India Lead Fellow with the United Nations Foundation, where efforts focus on empowering young leaders in India. Prachi also serves as a Climate Change Advisor for TATA Power, a Member of the Board of Advisors for the Climate Leadership Coalition, and a COP27 Young Scholar with the Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Government of India. Other notable roles include being named Changemaker of the Year 2022 by businessline and serving as a UNICEF Climate Action Youth Advocate. Earlier experiences include co-founding Wide Eyes and holding positions such as Youth Fellow at the Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries & Agriculture, as well as a Communication Consultant for TATA Innoverse. Prachi holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Symbiosis Centre for Media & Communication.
