Amol Maokar

Amol Maokar has a diverse work experience in the field of media and journalism. Amol began their career in 2006 as a Senior Sub Editor at The Indian Express and later worked at The Economic Times as a Chief Sub Editor. Amol then joined DNA - Daily News & Analysis as an Assistant News Editor. After that, they worked as a Senior Content Writer at Ethinos Digital Marketing. In 2017, they joined Majin Films as a Creative Director & Content Marketing Manager. Amol co-founded BIRO in 2021 and served as a Co-Founder. After that, they worked at Lokmat Media Pvt. Ltd as a Chief Sub Editor until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Subeditor at The Hitavada.

Amol Maokar has obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Literature, Philosophy, and Psychology from Nagpur University.
