Craig Asano is a distinguished leader in the fintech sector, serving as the Founder and CEO of the National Crowdfunding & Fintech Association of Canada since September 2012. As the Executive Chair of Canada’s foremost financial technology organization, Craig oversees strategic objectives, programs, partnerships, and revenue generation activities. In addition to this role, Craig chairs and leads key conferences such as the Fintech & Funding Conference and the VanFUNDING Conference, which foster connections among innovators, investors, and regulators. As an Executive Producer of the FINTECH FRIDAY$ podcast, Craig shares insights on the adoption of new financial technologies. Craig's advisory roles include contributions to KABN Systems North America and the Canadian Innovation Exchange, among others. Holding a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics, Craig possesses a strong background in marketing strategy and new venture creation.
