Kathy Kariuki

Kathy Kariuki is a seasoned professional in the fields of counseling, mediation, and youth mentorship, with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as a Residential Counselor at The Home for Little Wanderers since May 2023, Kathy specializes in behavior intervention strategies and family support. As a Family Mediator with The Courts of Judiciary since August 2021, Kathy provides expert mediation for custody, child support, and divorce cases. Previously, Kathy held roles such as Youth Counselor and Family Mediator at Defined Mental Health & Mediation Consultancy LTD, and contributed to youth mentorship through the JOFA Project at Terre des hommes foundation. Kathy's earlier experience includes psychosocial counseling at RefuSHE and Kamiti Maximum Prison. With a Bachelor of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Pan Africa Christian University and a Professional Mediation Certificate, Kathy combines mental health knowledge and conflict resolution skills to support individuals facing challenges.
