Junyeol Kim

Junyeol Kim, Ph.D., is an accomplished research toxicologist currently employed at The Honest Company since April 2022. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship and lab management role at Wayne State University, where significant contributions included the development of innovative microplastic extraction methods and collaborations with the Great Lakes Water Authority. Previous research assistant roles at Stanford University and the University of Notre Dame involved pioneering studies on the environmental impacts of nanoparticles, including TiO2 and silver nanoparticles. Junyeol Kim holds a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, a Master's in Environmental Science and Engineering from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering from Yeungnam University.
