Benjamin Bayl

Benjamin Bayl is a distinguished conductor and music director with extensive experience leading various ensembles across Europe and beyond. Currently serving as Associate Director of The Hanover Band since 2011, Benjamin has conducted significant performances, including a successful 2018 tour to China and a digital cycle of Beethoven Symphonies. As Co-Founder of the Australian Romantic & Classical Orchestra, Benjamin specializes in historically informed performances. Notable guest conducting positions include Staatsoper Stuttgart, Magyar Állami Operaház, and Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, among others. Benjamin's educational background includes degrees from the University of Cambridge and various prestigious music institutions, complemented by an Executive Graduate Certificate in Cultural Leadership & Social Entrepreneurship from The Global Leaders Institute.
