In this role, Pete is responsible for providing Horton clients with comprehensive, cost-effective, and innovative solutions to meet their most complex, risk-related challenges and opportunities.

Before joining Horton in March, Pete spent the last two years as a Senior Manager for Carrier Sales at BlueGrace Logistics. Through Pete’s past work experience, he has learned that you have to have determination in order to be successful in your industry. When it comes to his clients, Pete prides himself on being dependable and accountable. His goal is to be a trusted advisor to his clients.

In today’s industry, Pete works for the best but prepares for the worse. He believes that "we are in a world filled with unknowns, with the right insurance partners and coverage, you and your business will be positioned for continued success.

Pete received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Marketing at Saint Ambrose in Davenport, Iowa. He lives with his two sons and a boxer in Villa Park, which is where he enjoys being outside and grilling. Pete was a middle linebacker in college, where he was voted as captain by his teammates, but now he likes to play golf.
