Avery MacLean Itim

Avery MacLean PMP ITIL CSM serves as the Director of Research IT at The Hospital for Sick Children, leading efforts to enhance research capabilities through core computing resources and infrastructure. With a strong background in enterprise data architecture, Avery has significantly contributed to the development of SickKids' data and analytics platform. A freelance musician since 1993, Avery specializes in Renaissance, Baroque, and contemporary music. Previous positions held include Associate Director of Application Development at the University of Toronto and various project management roles at The Hospital for Sick Children, where Avery implemented crucial IT developments for the Research Institute. Avery holds degrees in Music Criticism and Early Music Performance from respected institutions, including McMaster University, Koninklijk Conservatorium, and McGill University.
