Jessica Collins

Jessica Collins has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Jessica started their career as a forensic clinician at Behavioral Health Network, Inc in 2009, where they worked until 2012. Jessica then joined The Hospital of Central Connecticut as a Registered Nurse from 2012 to 2014. Following that, they worked at Hartford HealthCare as a Regional Manager for Behavioral Health from 2014 to 2018, and later as the Director of Behavioral Health Service Line from 2018 until the present. Their most recent position is as the Senior Director of Operations at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, a role they began in 2023.

Jessica Collins obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Stonehill College, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Jessica then pursued a Master's degree in Community counseling at the University of Saint Joseph from 2005 to 2007. Jessica later attended Goodwin College from 2009 to 2012, earning an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Jessica furthered their education by completing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Chamberlain College of Nursing, where they studied from 2014 to 2017.

Additionally, Jessica has obtained several certifications to enhance their skill set. Jessica obtained the certification in Marketing Strategy from eCornell in April 2021, followed by a certification in Business Strategy from the same institution in December 2020. In June 2020, they acquired a certification in Management Accounting also from eCornell. Prior to these certifications, Jessica obtained a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse certification from the American Nurses Association in January 2017. Jessica also holds a Licensed Professional Counselor certification from the State of CT, obtained in March 2008.
