Annaka West

Annaka West is the current Head of Finance at The House Fund. Prior to their current position, they were the Controller at Aduro Advisors from December 2015 to June 2021. Before that, they were the Accounting Manager at Bertram Capital from June 2011 to November 2015. In this role, they managed accounting for three funds totaling $850 million in capital, executed capital calls and distributions, and answered all limited partner requests. Additionally, they calculated management and performance fees, prepared quarterly GAAP financial statements and financial reporting, and managed the year-end audit for three funds. Annaka also implemented annual VCOC compliance monitoring and certifications, prepared schedules for Form 1042 filings, updated relevant schedules implemented in limited partner slide decks, trained and managed senior accountant. West began their career in finance as a Sales Assistant at Morgan Stanley from June 2002 to February 2005.

Annaka West received their Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from UC Santa Barbara and then went on to get their Masters in Global Studies from the University of Vienna and Leipzig University.
