Oliver Ni is an accomplished professional with experience in various roles within media, advocacy, and research. Currently serving as Compensation Director and Senior Sports Editor at The Hoya since September 2022, Oliver manages a team of over 30 writers, overseeing the production of multiple articles weekly. Additionally, Oliver is a Deputy Sports Editor and Staff Writer at The Hoya and serves as a Student Advocate at the Georgetown Student Advocacy Office and a Biomechanics Analyst at Georgetown Baseball Analytics. Previous experience includes working as an Editorial Assistant for the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs, a Student Researcher for The Free Speech Project, and volunteering for Lauren Underwood for Congress. Oliver contributed to educational equity research as a Research Assistant at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. Oliver is currently pursuing a degree at Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service, having previously graduated from Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy.
