Carla H. Russo, MAPP, serves as a Senior Editor at HuffPost since September 2013, directing a global team of reporters on breaking news and beat-specific stories in the U.S. Previously, Carla held roles as a Reporter, focusing on national breaking news and issues pertinent to Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. Early experience includes internships at Fox Broadcasting Company in current programming and alternative entertainment, where responsibilities included administrative support and integration of brand products in scripted programming. Carla also contributed as a General Assignment Reporter for Patch.com, as well as engaging in editorial work for E! Online. Carla's academic background includes a BA in Literary Journalism from UC Irvine and currently pursues a Master's degree in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.
