Pedro Rivera

Secretary Pedro Rivera is the current President of Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. Prior to that, he served as Pennsylvania’s Secretary of Education from 2015-2020. A Philadelphia native, Rivera spent 13 years in the School District of Philadelphia as both a teacher and principal before becoming the superintendent of the School District of Lancaster.
