Fedde Schaeffer

Fedde Schaeffer is a Bioinformatics Software Engineer at The Hyve since October 2015. Previous experience includes serving as an MSc Student at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica, where assistance was provided in developing a pipeline for integrative network analysis of gene expression data, and a trainee at the Hubrecht Institute, focusing on intronic expression in RNA-Seq data. Additional roles include on-call work at OGD for IT projects, assisting in web application development at Leiden University Medical Center, and conducting research at Erasmus MC and Leiden University Medical Center on various bioinformatics projects. Fedde Schaeffer holds a Master of Science in Bioinformatics / Systems Biology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Bioinformatics from Hogeschool Leiden.
