Henk-Jan van Den Ham

Henk-Jan van den Ham is currently serving as Team Lead for Genomics and Target Discovery at The Hyve since February 2025. Previously, Henk-Jan held the position of Senior Scientist in Bioinformatics & Immunology at ENPICOM from February 2018 to February 2025, focusing on enhancing immunotherapy diagnostics through immunogenomics and bioinformatics. Henk-Jan has an extensive background in bioinformatics, having worked as a Research Team Lead at the Erasmus Medical Center from May 2010 to February 2018, investigating virus-host interactions and host responses to various viruses. Henk-Jan's academic journey includes a PhD in Theoretical Immunology & Bioinformatics from Utrecht University and a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences. Prior to academic and professional roles, Henk-Jan gained teaching experience as a tuition teacher and completed internships in immunotherapy and parasitology.
