Amber Raiken

Amber Raiken is a U.S. Lifestyle Reporter for The Independent, a position held since January 2022. With previous experience as an Editorial Assistant at Galvanized Media, Amber contributed to writing multiple articles weekly and managing social media for Best Life. Earlier roles include serving as a Lifestyle Editor for Distinct Magazine, where Amber guided writers in developing their ideas, and as a Writing Intern at uInterview and The Sophie Fund, focusing on news, pop culture, and mental health awareness. Amber also worked as a Social Media Manager for Odyssey and completed a Bachelor's degree in Writing from Ithaca College in 2020.
