Dr. Engrs. CiCi Bassey et al is an experienced epidemiologist and health communication professional currently serving as the Epidemiologist in charge of Port Health at the Akwa Ibom State Government since May 2004. In addition to this role, Dr. Bassey is the Editor in Chief at NMA Today and engages in freelance health writing for various platforms, including Yahoo, AARP, and The Independent, focusing on women's health and chronic conditions. Dr. Bassey also holds positions as a Global Health Consultant for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Panagora Group, and serves as a National Surveillance and Epidemiology Trainer at the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention.
