Michael Selby-Green

Michael Selby-Green is an experienced freelance investigative journalist currently contributing to The Independent since December 2018 and has served as a Media & Communications Specialist for various non-profit organizations since January 2019. With a background that includes positions at Business Insider and The Sunday Times, where a front-page investigation resulted in a global policy change by Google, Selby-Green has demonstrated expertise in investigative and financial reporting. Additional work experience spans roles at The Guardian, The Times, and ITN Dispatches, as well as military training as an Officer Cadet in the Royal Air Force. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Investigative Journalism from City, University of London, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Geography from The University of Manchester.
