Hani Ahmed

Chief Internal Auditor at TAQA

Mr. Hani Ahmed joined TAQA in 2020, bringing with him over 20 years of experience with a focus on internal auditing across a range of industries in the Kingdom and internationally. In his current role, he is responsible for TAQA group’s Internal Audit function.

Throughout his career, he has held multiple senior roles most recently as Chief Internal and Risk Officer for Dammam Airport Company (DACO, Group Chief Internal Auditor for United Matbouli Group (UMG), Group Chief Internal Auditor for Magrabi Hospitals and Centers (MHC) and different positions as risk assurance lead in PwC and KPMG covering Saudi and overseas markets.

Mr. Hani holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Helwan University, Egypt, and a Modern Accounting Diploma from the American University in Cairo. He has also received multiple certifications including Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from the Institution of Internal Audit, US; and Certified Risk Analyst (CRA) from the American Academy of Financial Management, US.
