Mohammed Albalaihed

Mr. Albalaihed joined TAQA as a member of the Board of Directors and a member of the Executive Committee in December 2019. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of the Local Public & Private Equity Portfolio at the Public Investment Fund (PIF), Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund, a position he assumed in 2016.

Prior to joining PIF, Mr. Albalaihed held several positions at Sanabil Investment and the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF).

Mr. Albalaihed is a Chartered Financial Analyst, holding an Executive MBA from London Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Prince Sultan University, Saudi Arabia.

Additionally, Mr. Albalaihed serves as Director and Executive Committee member at the Fund of Funds, Vice Chairman of the Saudi Jordanian Investment Fund, Director of the Saudi Recycling Investment Company (SRIC), Director and Audit Committee member at the Eastern Province Cement Company and Executive Committee & Stakeholder's Committee member at the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC).
