Zak Fischer, FSA, currently serves as the Director of Data Science at Kapoq since January 2022, contributing extensive expertise in statistical analysis and data management. Concurrently, Zak has been an instructor for The Infinite Actuary since December 2014, successfully preparing over 3,000 students for fellowship-level actuarial exams in various complex subjects. Previous experience at One Eighty Capital as a Senior Associate involved strategic advisory roles and leadership during the due diligence process for portfolio sales. At Milliman, Zak worked as a Consulting Actuary, developing computational platforms and engaging with senior leadership on innovation matters. Zak's leadership experience includes serving as Chair of the Brown Undergraduate Finance Board, managing substantial funding for student groups. Zak holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Brown University.
