Josh Koehn is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in reporting and communications. Currently serving as a Reporter for The Information since August 2024, Koehn focuses on San Francisco tech, particularly in the realms of politics and public policy. Prior to this role, Koehn was a Senior Reporter at The San Francisco Standard, where reporting on City Hall and public agencies involved a diverse array of sources and methodologies. Koehn also held the position of Director of Communications for California Assemblymember Evan Low, managing communications for District 28 in Silicon Valley. Koehn's earlier roles include Assistant Metro Editor at the San Francisco Chronicle/SFGATE, Managing Editor at Metro Silicon Valley, and various reporting positions at publications such as the San Mateo Daily Journal and the Newton Daily News. Koehn holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in English Language and Literature from the University of California, Davis.
