Shane Burke

Shane Burke is a visual journalist at The Information since August 2022, with previous experience as a freelance journalist from January 2022 to August 2022. Prior roles include a reporting fellow at the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting and a data reporting fellow at The Salt Lake Tribune in 2021. Shane also served as a research manager at Maru Group from August 2016 to July 2020 and held internships with Hillary for America and The White House in 2015 and 2014, respectively. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Data Journalism from Columbia University (2021) and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Dartmouth College (2016).
