Sri Muppidi

Sri Muppidi is an experienced reporter specializing in startups and venture capital, currently working at The Information since November 2024. Previous reporting roles include a position at Business Insider and a fellowship at The Economist. Sri has a robust background in early-stage venture capital, having invested in numerous sectors such as AI and edtech at Emerson Collective and Sierra Ventures. Sri also co-founded Wordsmith AI and launched Capchase's first software product while holding various roles in research and venture fellowships. Sri holds a Master’s degree in Management Science and Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with Honors from Stanford University.
