Sara Darland

Sara Schmatz is an experienced professional with a strong background in operations and development within non-profit organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Operations and Program Manager at The Innerwork Center since January 2024, Sara previously held multiple roles at Shalom Farms, including Development Operations Manager and Interim Director of Development, from June 2021 to January 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Events and Communications Coordinator at NAMI Virginia, Program and Volunteer Director at Virginia Voice, and various positions at BROADFORK FARM, LLC and Shalom Farms. Sara holds a Master of Science in Fund Development and Philanthropy from Bay Path University and a BFA in Theater Performance from Virginia Commonwealth University.
