Sarah Hanson

Executive Vice President at Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy

Sarah Hanson has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Sarah started their career as an Associate at the Overseas Economic Cooperation Fund of Japan in 1990. Sarah then served as the Communications Director at the International Food Information Council from 1992 to 1996. Following that, they worked as the Managing Director at Weber Shandwick from 1996 to 2001. Sarah then joined Advocate Christ Medical Center in 2002, where they handled media relations activities and promoted the pediatric practice. In 2003, they joined Dairy Management Inc. as the Senior Vice President and later took on the role of Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff to the President. Sarah continued their career in the dairy industry as the Executive Vice President of the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy starting in 2018.

Sarah Hanson attended American University from 1987 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Studies. In 1989, they studied abroad in Paris at Hollins University. Prior to their time at American University, they attended Muhlenberg College from 1986 to 1987.
