Damian Martinez

Damian Martinez has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Damian currently holds the position of Head of Data Engineering at The Instant Group, a role which they assumed in August 2023. Prior to this, Damian served as the Technical Director at the same company, starting in November 2022. Damian's previous experience includes being the CTO at CoworkIntel, which was subsequently acquired by The Instant Group, starting in June 2019. Damian also co-founded and worked as a developer at The Apps Garden from April 2017 to October 2022. Damian has worked as a Product Manager at Beabloo from May 2018 to June 2019, and as an Engineer at Mediterranean Digital Services in Telefónica España from September 2017 to May 2018. Other roles in Damian's career include Software Developer at seeusoon.io from September 2016 to May 2017, and Co-Founder & Developer/Product Manager at Griti, Inc from March 2014 to May 2017. Damian's work experience also includes a Scholarship Holder position at Macsa ID, S.A. from February 2011 to July 2011.

Damian Martinez holds a Master's degree in Data Science from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, which they obtained from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in iTIC Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, Damian has another Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, which they completed from 2007 to 2011. In terms of certifications, Damian has an Academy Accreditation in Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals from Databricks, obtained in September 2023. Damian also holds a First Certificate in English (FCE) from the University of Cambridge, obtained in 2014.
