Tim Robertson has a diverse work experience. Tim currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer-Manufacturing Advancement at The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Autodesk as the Design and Manufacturing, Strategy and Business Development Manager from December 2021 to August 2022. Tim also held the position of ATDM Technical Program Manager at The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research from October 2020 to December 2021. Before that, Tim worked at Danville Community College as the HTEC Director from June 2016 to October 2020 and as an Integrated Machining Instructor/Technician from January 2015 to June 2016. Tim'searlier experiences include working as a Machinist at INVISTA from September 2013 to December 2014 and as a Team Member at Rolls-Royce from June 2012 to October 2013.

Tim Robertson completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Leadership from Averett University from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued Precision Machining Technology at Danville Community College from 2010 to 2012. Tim also obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Social Sciences from Danville Community College from 2007 to 2009. Apart from their academic achievements, Tim has obtained several certifications, including MCOSMOS I and MCOSMOS II from Mitutoyo America Corporation in November 2015, MTC from Sandvik Coromant in June 2015, Yellow Belt from Rolls-Royce in December 2012, and the Autodesk Certified Associate in CAM for 2.5 Axis Milling from Autodesk in November 2020.
