Marco Forgione

Marco Forgione MCIEx serves as a Visiting Professor at Aston University since September 2023 and has been the Director General of The Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade since January 2020. Previously, Marco held the position of Chief Executive at The British Antique Dealers' Association from September 2015 to January 2020, leading the exclusive UK association for the art and antique trade. Prior roles include Chief Executive at EVCOM, overseeing the largest association for live and experiential communication, and at IVCA, managing an international membership organization for film and digital creators. Marco's earlier career includes a directorial role at Canterbury College, focusing on enterprise and partnerships, and as Director of Marketing and Communications at the Landscape Institute. Marco was also a parliamentary candidate for Richmond Park from 2002 to 2005. Marco earned a BSc in Geography from The London School of Economics and Political Science between 1990 and 1993 and completed early education at Sherborne School.
