Hirotatsu Teraoka

Hirotatsu Teraoka is a senior client manager at Swiss Re, specializing in public sector solutions since April 2022. Simultaneously, Teraoka serves as the CPCU Society International Ambassador, awarded recognition by The Institutes since June 2019. Prior experience includes multiple roles at MS&AD Insurance Group from 2002 to 2022, such as Global Risk Manager and Head of Cyber, Engineering and PA Reinsurance. Teraoka also held positions as a visiting fellow at Columbia Business School and a research fellow at the Nikkei CSIS Virtual Thinktank. Earlier work includes treaty negotiations for the Government of Japan, focusing on international transportation strategies. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Tokyo and fellowships in International Business Diplomacy.
