Sharon Liu Ceng Mice

Sharon Liu CEng MICE is an accomplished civil engineer with extensive experience in project management and membership development within the engineering sector. Currently serving as the Membership Development Officer for the West Midlands Region at the Institution of Civil Engineers since April 2021, Sharon has previously held project management roles at Via East Midlands and Turner & Townsend, where notable projects included the M6 Junctions 13-15 Smart Motorway Project and major developments for various local councils and organizations. Sharon's engineering career began at British Waterways as a Student Engineer, with progressive roles leading to senior engineering positions at firms such as AONE+ and RPS Group. Education credentials include a BEng Hons in Civil Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University, alongside qualifications in AutoCAD. Sharon has also demonstrated leadership capabilities as the Chair of the ICE East Midlands Graduate & Student Committee from 2005 to 2006.
