Messaoud Saidani

Messaoud Saidani, BEng, PhD, SFHEA, CEng, FIStructE, is an experienced academic in the field of civil engineering, currently serving as an External Examiner at the University of Bolton and the University of Central Lancashire since 2022. Messaoud holds a prominent role as Associate Editor for the Journal of Structural Design and Construction Practice and is a member of the editorial boards for several international journals, including the International Journal of Construction Engineering and Management, the International Journal of Sustainable Construction Materials and Technologies, and the International Journal of Civil Engineering and Construction Technology. As a Reader in Structural Engineering at Coventry University since 2007, Messaoud leads research initiatives within the School of Energy, Construction and Environment and has coordinated postgraduate courses and programs. Messaoud received a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham and has a background in civil engineering from both Ecole Nationale Polytechnique and Université des Sciences et de la Technologie 'Houari Boumediène'.
