Julien Deveaux

Julien Deveaux is an experienced design professional currently serving as Team Lead and Lead Product Designer at IBM since January 2021, alongside a role as Senior Product Designer at IBM Instana since its acquisition by IBM in December 2020. Julien has also been a Design Mentor with the Interaction Design Foundation since September 2019 and a UX and Design Mentor with Designlab since October 2014. With a freelance background as a Digital Product Designer since March 2014, Julien specializes in assisting startups in product definition and design, while mentoring design beginners in online courses. Previous roles include Product Designer at Agorize, where Julien revamped a significant platform for global companies, co-founding and serving as CPO and UX/UI Lead at cottonTracks, and participating as an Entrepreneur in the Start-Up Chile accelerator program. Julien has also held positions in project management and business development at Work4 Labs and completed an internship at Applidium. Educational qualifications include a degree in Digital Business Management from HEC Paris and a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from Télécom Paris.
