Susanne Marchant

Susanne Marchant currently serves as an MYP Language and Literature English Teacher at The International Academy-Amman since August 2013, where responsibilities include implementing the MYP course and providing feedback to students. Additionally, Susanne holds the position of Deputy Head of MYP and Head of Grades 6-8, ensuring effective implementation of MYP elements from Grades 6-8 and collaborating with various educational leaders. Susanne's involvement with the International Baccalaureate as an examiner and curriculum reviewer began in October 2016, while also serving as a member of the Council of International Schools Evaluation Team since November 2014. Previous experience includes leadership as Head of Primary and teaching English at New English School from 2000 to 2013. Educational qualifications encompass a Master's degree in Education from the University of Bath, a Master's in Law, Politics & Economics from SOAS, a Bachelor of Laws from Oxford Brookes University, a Hornsby Diploma in Specific Learning Needs, and U.S. Teacher Certification through Moreland University.
