Asif Nazarov

Asif Nazarov is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as Chief Technical Lead and Retail Segment Tribe Tech Lead at ABB since September 2020, along with the role of Advisor to the CIO. Prior positions include advisor to the CIO at PASHA Bank in Georgia, and program manager for data management and business processes at PASHA Life. Asif has held significant leadership roles, including Chief Information Officer at Kapital Bank OJSC, Chief Technology Officer at Unibank, and Senior Software Engineering Manager at Bank of Baku. Asif's career began as a Senior Software Engineer at Smart Systems Technology LTD. Academically, Asif holds an MBA from ESMT Berlin and an MBA GNW focused on Digital Transformation & Cybersecurity from IE Business School, along with a Magister in Engineering Economics and Management from Azerbaijan State University of Economics and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics from Baku State University. Asif is enhancing expertise by participating in the Data Leadership Program at MIT Sloan Executive Education.
