Muadh Hanifa

Muadh Hanifa is a finance professional with extensive experience in various roles within the humanitarian and development sectors. Currently serving as the Finance & Admin Coordinator at The International Foundation for Electoral Systems since March 2023, Muadh previously worked as a Finance Coordinator at Save the Children in Sri Lanka, overseeing an emergency response project funded by USAID and UN Agencies from October 2022 to February 2023. Prior roles include Internal Audit Officer at MAG, focusing on humanitarian mine clearing operations, and Finance Administrative Officer at Handicap International, managing an integrated economic development project. Muadh started a career in auditing with LM Associates, gaining valuable exposure to financial reporting and compliance. Academic qualifications include an ACA in Accounting and Finance & Auditing from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Peradeniya.
