Rene Travis Feuer is a seasoned professional in international development and electoral processes, currently serving as Program Manager for the Africa regional team at The International Foundation for Electoral Systems since August 2016, with a focus on Mali and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Previously, Rene held various roles within the organization, including Senior Program Officer and Program Officer, concentrating on countries such as Kenya, Mali, DRC, Tanzania, Malawi, and The Gambia. Rene's experience extends to a graduate research assistant position at the Sié Chéou-Kang Center for International Security and Diplomacy, focusing on non-violent movements in Africa, as well as internships at UNDP, The Dershowitz Group, and Project Vote Smart, which involved research and communication in governance and political transparency. Rene holds a Master's Degree in International/Global Studies from the University of Denver and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and History from Furman University.
