Rob Quaintance is a retired lawyer. He spent most of his career as a partner at the international law firm Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, practicing in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities, and corporate governance. He handled a number of significant international M&A transactions and was recognized as a leading lawyer by Chambers USA and by the Legal 500 US. Before joining Debevoise, Mr. Quaintance taught at New York University School of Law and served as law clerk to the Vermont Supreme Court. He currently serves as a consulting editor for documentary filmmakers and producers. Mr. Quaintance is a past chairman of the board of Union Settlement Association, one of the oldest social services agencies in the United States and the largest provider of social services in the East Harlem neighborhood of New York City. Mr. Quaintance received his bachelor’s degree from Amherst College and his law degree from New York University.
