Medical Director, Structural Heart Program at The Iowa Clinic

Dr. Musab Alqasrawi began their work experience as a Visiting Scholar at Rush University Medical Center in 2009 before moving on to Baylor College of Medicine for a Visiting Scholar role in 2009-2010. Musab then completed an Internship at King Abdullah University Hospital (KAUH) from 2010-2011. Dr. Alqasrawi worked as an Internal Medicine Resident at the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center from 2011-2013. Musab then joined the University of Iowa in 2013 as an Internal Medicine Physician until 2016. During their time at the University of Iowa, they also served as a Cardiovascular Disease Fellow from 2016-2020 and as an Interventional Cardiology Fellow from 2019-2020. In 2017, they became a Fellow-in-Training at the American College of Cardiology. In 2020, they moved on to The Iowa Clinic as an Interventional and Structural Cardiologist and later became the Medical Director of the Structural Heart Program in August 2021.

Dr. Musab Alqasrawi obtained their Medical Degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology in June 2010. Musab then completed their residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa, obtaining their American Board of Internal Medicine certification in October 2016. Following this, Dr. Alqasrawi pursued a Cardiovascular Fellowship at the University of Iowa from 2016-2019, specializing in Cardiology. In January 2019, they obtained their certification in American Board of Nuclear Cardiology from The American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. From 2013-2016, Dr. Alqasrawi also completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Iowa. Musab further specialized in Interventional Cardiology through an Interventional and Structural Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Iowa from 2018-2020. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as Iowa Medical License, Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, American National Board of Echocardiography, and American Board of Cardiovascular Diseases. Finally, in November 2020, Dr. Alqasrawi obtained their American Board of Interventional Cardiology certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
