Shawn Bogenrief

Shawn Bogenrief has over 32 years of experience in total rewards consulting, specifically in the areas of benefit and retirement plans. Shawn currently holds the position of Senior VP Sales and Senior Consultant at Oswald Companies, where they are responsible for business development in the retirement plan and benefit practice areas in the public and private markets. Prior to their current role, they served as the Area President at Gallagher from 2013 to 2017. Before that, they were the President and Owner of Gardner & White (now Gallagher) from 1985 to 2013. Shawn also worked as an Assistant VP at Bank One of Columbus, NA from 1982 to 1985.

Shawn Bogenrief has a strong education background in business and economics. Shawn earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Economics and Management from Ohio Northern University in 1982. Shawn then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Economics from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, which they completed in 1985. In 1986, Shawn obtained their Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) certification from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business, where they also studied under the Wharton School of Business and received a CEBS degree. Shawn further expanded their knowledge and expertise by obtaining additional certifications, including the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation from CFP Institutes Certified Financial Planners in 1987 and the Chartered Mutual Fund Consultant certification from International Investment Group LLC in the same year. In recognition of their accomplishments, Shawn also received an honorary degree from Yale University's International Association of Registered Financial Consultants in 1986 and an honorary degree in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 1981.
