Tobin Teichgraeber has worked in the apparel industry for over 20 years. Tobin began their career in 1999 as the VP/GM Boardsports for Salomon North America at Adidas-Salomon AG. In 2001, they moved to Helly Hansen as the VP/GM Global Product and Marketing. In 2005, they were hired by Wolverine World Wide as the Global GM/Creative Director to define the strategic foray of Merrell into the outdoor apparel market. In 2008, they co-founded TheClymb.com, a direct-to-consumer private-sale site for outdoor athletic apparel, footwear, and gear. From 2009 to 2011, they were the Global Director of Product at Simms Fishing. From 2011 to 2016, they were the Senior Head of Product for the Americas Region and Senior Head of Global Product - Outdoor/Sailing at PUMA Group. In 2016, they were a VP of Product (contract) at Alps & Meters and a Strategic Consultant (contract) at North Sails. Tobin then co-founded OB/VS - Objective Virtues Inc. and currently serves as the Director of Product at The James Brand.
Tobin Teichgraeber is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business Innovation & Entrepreneurship at HEC Paris, which they began in 2020. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at Columbia University. Tobin also completed coursework in Leading Innovation at Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business in 2015-2016, and coursework in Finance at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business in 2007-2008. In addition, they have obtained several certifications from HEC Paris and Northwestern University, including Marketing Through Social Media, Organizational Design & Management, Social Entrepreneurship & Changemaking, What is Social?, Design Thinking, New Product Development, Boosting Creativity for Innovation, Business Strategy, and Entrepreneurship Strategy: From Ideation to Exit.
