Kim Ammann Howard has a strong background in impact assessment, learning, strategy, and consulting. Kim worked as the Director of Impact Assessment and Learning at The James Irvine Foundation from 2015 to the present. Prior to that, they were a Strategy & Learning Consultant at California HealthCare Fdn, Kenneth Rainin Fdn, Center for Care Innovation, Bechtel Jr Fdn, and Kaiser from April 2015 to November 2015. Kim also served as the Director at Informing Change for over a decade, from December 2004 to March 2015. Before their time at Informing Change, Kim worked as an Evaluation & Learning Consultant, providing their expertise to organizations such as the Packard Foundation, Gates Foundation, and The California Wellness Foundation from October 2000 to November 2004. Kim began their career at Stanford University School of Medicine, Center for Prevention Research as a Project Director from April 1996 to September 2000.
Kim Ammann Howard has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of California at Berkeley. Kim also holds a PhD in Health Policy and Management from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.
